Background
Brian began his mechanical engineering career through his undergrad time spent at bucknell university and continuted his educational experience pursuing his masters degree at the university of delaware. Following grad school he worked for nearly three years with the u.s. army as a civilian mechanical engineer involved with weapons effects modeling. He then decided to get back into what he found he enjoyed most which was having a more hands on design and engineering experience. He found this opportunity and joined a small medical device company as a design engineer where he developed new products and processes for niche medical equipment for the radiology and oncology medical industry. After two years he moved to the Boston area for a position with a composites company. As a design engineer he know works in a broad range of industries including military, materials handling, industrial, medical, and sporting equipment. His new position allows him to work with conventional composites, high performance fiber composites, and cutting edge nanocomposites development. Throughout his academic and professional career brian has balanaced his work with a strong creative side during his personal time. His projects have always included a strong artistic base while using his experience in engineering and materials to bring new uses to current products and materials. |
